Joe De Santos, Sr.
Well, here we are again. It’s getting mighty close to the beginning of the Texas deer season. Traditionally, our hunting group starts getting ready in mid August every year. We hadn’t been back to the place out in the Texas Hill Country since May of this year. At that time, when we left, everything was in good shape, our deer feeders were in good shape and all of our equipment, living quarters, etc. were fine. But with years of experience, we know that when you leave the wild for a long time, the wild things will party….. and indeed they did. One of our hunters spent this weekend at the place and brought back a report and some photos. The sleeping quarters are in good shape. Two of our four deer blinds need repairs and three of our feeder motors were torn up. Attached are some of the photos from a trail cam and some that our buddy took of the damaged items. Check out the photos of the suspects on the trail cam. Click on photo to enlarge.
