I don’t know about anybody else, however, I think it’s time for Tony Romo to put up or shut up. He got a lot of help from the running game and a weak defense last week against the St Louis Rams. He needs to lead the team to a win against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and I think I will get on board the Tony Romo fan club, no matter what he does the rest of the season. Why do I say this? I say this because this is a game that will test Romo’s “choke factor”. He’ll be playing against a good football team that doesn’t like the Cowboys and they are coming after him. If he succeeds, I promise I will quit criticizing his play. If he loses, I’ll give up on him and vote for another quarterback, no matter what. Now, on another subject. How about that DeMarco Murray? I think this guy is just what the Cowboys running game has been longing for. I heard Coach Jason Garrett being asked who was going to start if Felix Jones returns to the lineup and he said that Felix was his man whenever he gets healthy. WHAT!! Hard for me to figure that one out, I guess it has something to do with loyalty or the amount of money being paid to Jones. I thought the name of the game was to win games. I am not an expert as you all know, however, I would go with DeMarco Murray as the starter, no matter how many feelings I hurt. If Murray proves to be a fluke, so be it. There, that’s off my chest.
