WELL DESERVED CRITICISM OF DALLAS COWBOYS’ COACH JASON GARRETT

LEST WE FORGET

REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR

December 07, 2011

I haven’t written much on the Dallas Cowboys, lately.  I’ve been very busy doing other things and since this is just a hobby, I work on it when I have time.  I’ve been happy that the ‘boys won a couple of games, close and in the last minute, typical Cowboy play.  I’ve been bitchin’ about Romo, mostly and here lately I’ve discovered that the problem does not lie entirely on him.  If we go back and kind of analyze the past few (many) seasons, it seems like it’s the same problem year after year.  Never a team effort, always one or two heroes in a win and one or two goats in a loss.  This last game against the Arizona Cardinals it was the head coach that screwed up.  Dallas should have won that game in their usual squeaky manner.  I’ve come to believe the problem lies with the owner, Jerrry Jones.  He’s had good coaches, however, it’s his way or the highway and good coaches don’t take crap from owners if they’re going to win games.  So the good coaches are gone and in the last few years he’s surrounded himself with a bunch of yes men and no success.  This guy, Jason Garrett, is not a good coach.  He does what the top brass asks him to do, nothing more.  He’s loaded with talent and he just doesn’t get it done.  This last week is an example.   Why is this guy calling the plays?  He’s a terrible play caller.  Why in the hell did he play Julius Jones so much when Demarco Murray was kicking butt when he was the sole running back?  Why can’t he get Romo to run a play before the play clock expires?  Why are there so many holds on the defensive backs side?  I can go on and on.  Anyway, here’s an article written by Jonathan Bales, featured columnist on bleacherreport.com. concerning Jason Garrett.  Please click on the link below:
