I found this most informative site on feral hogs from the Texas Cooperative Extension of the Texas A&M System, written by Mark E. Mapston, District Supervisor for Wildlife Services. This is the largest and most extensive publication concerning this subject I have ever seen. This material contains a complete overview of the feral hog population in Texas, including great photos.
