Another Yellowstone hiker was killed by a grizzly bear. The man was found by other hikers on Friday and an autopsy verified that it was a grizzly that killed him. Authorities are trying to determine if it was the same bear that killed another hiker last month, several miles from this scene. They’ll be running DNA tests for the results. The latest victim was hiking by himself and had set up a tent in the area where he was killed. I’m not going to harp, much, on this one. Knowing that the area is known for killer bears, why would anyone go into that particular wild country by himself and act like he was out on a Sunday picnic at a local city park. I would like to think that common sense would kick in when people read about these attacks, however, I know it won’t. The “it won’t happen to me” syndrome is alive and well. It will happen again and that is really really sad…………
