HUNTING – UNEXPECTED DANGEROUS SITUATIONS

I found these interesting hunting stories on ESPN outdoors concerning some realtree.com hairy situations.  These articles by Realtree’s Stephanie Mallory speak about hunters that accidentally get themselves in some difficult situations, something that could happen to any of us while out in the wild.  I have always worried about our hunting group as we walk out in the dark mornings to get to our hunting stands.  One of the stands is a good 15-20 minute walk with brush on both sides of the path.  I don’t think we have any bears in our area, although we are not too far from the Mexican border in southwest Texas.  I do know that there are some cougars (mountain lions) in the area, since one has been killed not too far off.  Please read a good informative story about mountain lions on this website’s archives.  Click on the following link to read Ms Mallory’s articles:
