I just recently watched a Natgeo program on TV concerning people who buy baby monkeys to keep them as their children. These folks create something in their minds to make them think that the monkeys are their own, almost like they are born from their bodies. Watching these (mostly females) with these animals and stating they would never part from them, even if they hurt someone, kind of made me sick. The program continued to relate that as the monkeys got older, they started to act aggressive, even hurting their owners or other family members. Eventually, some of these owners saw the light after some violence on the part of the monkey and had to part with it. This brings me to the same old argument, wild animals will be wild FOREVER!
