BREAKING NEWS……… Corpus Christi, Texas golfers will be happy to learn that a new driving range is opening on the southside at Saratoga near Kostoryz, just past Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. “Tee 2 Green” will be located at 3442 Saratoga. It will be owned by pro golfer Marti Longoria and will accommodate approximately 30-35 golfers at a time. According to Marti, there will be a large 18 hole putting green and a large chipping area. A snack bar that will sell beer, snacks and other refreshments will be part of the facility. Ms Longoria stated that sod will be laid next Monday, October 18 and she’s shooting for a mid-December grand opening that will include some celebrity pro golfers. She is planning frequent putting tournaments and longest drive contests. Golf lessons will also be available by appointment. Tentative hours of operation will be from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. daily.
