Carlos Monarrez, Detroit Free Press sports writer has a negative opinion concerning Tony Romo getting an exemption to play in the PGA Tour AT&T Byron Nelson in May. His reasoning kind of makes sense, since by letting him take a spot in the tournament, a qualified tour player misses out. I don’t really know much about how they qualify to play in the tournament, however, I’m thinking there’s only so many spots to fill and the last person to qualify will not get in because of Tony’s exemption. What do you think? Monarrez makes his case in the following link.
