Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco, Texas High School quarterback Aaron Bueno continues to receive accolades from the high school sports world. On Monday, this South Texas native was named the Built Ford Tough High School Player of the Year for Class 1-A. This young man comes from a high school population of approximately 190 students. In addition to this recent honor, the 6-2, 210 pounder was previously named the Class 1-A All-State Offensive Player of the year by the Texas Associated Press Sports Editors. During the 2010 football season, he completed 145 of 216 passes for 2,652 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,440 yards and scored 25 touchdowns. Bueno has committed to play for Division II Texas A&M Kingsville (formerly Texas A&I). A&M Kingsville has produced several outstanding NFL players throughout the years. Click on photo to enlarge.
