John Paul II ‘s baseball team brought home a second consecutive TAPPS Class 4-A Championship by defeating a strong Houston Second Baptist team by a 3-2 score. Coach Steve Castillo’s teams continue to dominate the opposition and it doesn’t matter where he’s coaching. This man has a great baseball mind and his own special method to motivate his team. He is one of a kind and I am surprised some college or university hasn’t picked him up. It helps that he has some great baseball players on his side.
