PATRIOTS ALMOST FORGOTTEN – REMEMBERING START OF KOREAN WAR 60TH ANNIVERSARY

Corpus Christi, Texas – I know this is not sports, however, it tugged at my heart after reading about these almost forgotten soldiers who sacrificed their lives in service of their Country.  Four men, Jesus Martinez, Jose R. (Joe) Aguilar, Agustin L. Garcia and Luis “Luz) Posada are all featured in a Corpus Christi Caller-Times article concerning the anniversary of the start of the Korean war way back on June 25, 1950.  Being ignorant of this date, after reading the story, I  immediately went outside and displayed my American flag in honor of all the men that fought and those that died in this war.  I felt very proud of them as a read the story and I salute them and all the Korean war veterans for their great sacrifice.  Please read the entire article in the following  Caller.com article:
